He  underwent 3 years compulsory residency programme for MS Orthopaedics course from R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata . After that he worked in the same institution as a Senior Resident for one year. As MS Orthopaedics resident at R G Kar Medical College, he has performed routine ward and emergency duties.

He also passed the DNB Orthopaedics examination.

He has done the AO Basic fracture management course.

He has completed fellowship programme of six months duration in hip and knee arthroplasty in AMRI Salt Lake in January 2016.

He has done fellowship in Knee and Shoulder Surgery (Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty) from L’IRCOS (Paris).

He worked as Assistant Professor in IQ City Medical College and NH Hospital, Durgapur since September, 2015 till August 2017.He worked as senior fellow in National University Hospital, Singapore in department of Orthopaedics, Hip and Knee and foot and ankle division.

He is proficient in following fields :

•      Primary and revision total hip and knee replacement surgery,
•      Computer assisted (Navigation) replacement surgeries,
•       Robotics hip and knee arthroplasty (not yet started in India till date)
•      All sorts advanced of arthroscopic surgeries of knee, shoulder, ankle, hip elbow.
•      All kinds of orthopedic trauma and fracture management, Ilizarov technique.

He is also experienced in research, audit which are very important to keep up with the medical advancement and to implement advanced protocol.

He has experience of working in National University Hospital, Singapore which is considered to be of international standard. He believes that, with proper planning and team work that level can be achieved in institutions of our countries also.
