Dr. Deepashree Paul is a very dedicated and passionate Dental Surgeon. She completed her BDS in 2011 and went on to do her House Surgeonship from Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences (RKM) Kolkata. She then qualified for her post graduation specialisation (MDS) in 2014 by securing the first rank in the entrance andthen again in the exit examination from her institute under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
She has also been trained in Nasoalveolar Molding for cleft babies and in Microendodontics under leading dental surgeons of India.
She was Awarded the Best Paper (National level) at the National Conference of the Indian Society of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry in 2015 held at Raipur.
She was again awarded the Best Paper for her research by the Indian Dental Association at the State IDA Conference held in 2016 at Kolkata.
She has 12 National and International publications to her credit.
She has Chaired a CDE (Continued Dental Education Programme) organised by the Indian Dental Association in Durgapur in May 2018.
She leads the department of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery of Health World Hospital, Durgapur where a plethora of dental and oral treatments are being performed every day. She treats all dental and oral problems of children right from birth through adolescence, adulthood to oldage. From simple oral prophylaxis to complex pulpal therapies, root canal treatments, prosthetic rehablitation and crown and bridges and so on. She also efficiently treats differently abled patients or those with special health care needs, those with autism, cerebral palsy or with developmental or behavioural challenges are treated by her with utmost care and compassion.
In addition, Craniofacial trauma and fractures, craniofacial deformities, TMJ dysfunctions, jaw tumours, malignancies are also treated by her in collaboration with our Department of Plastic Surgery, Health Word Hospital.
