He further refined his surgical expertise during his tenure as Senior Resident at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, one of India’s leading centers for complex head & neck and skull base surgeries.

Dr. Basak has previously served as Consultant ENT and Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon at Ruby General Hospital and Charnock Hospital, Kolkata, managing a wide spectrum of routine to highly complex ENT and oncological cases.
