Dr. Sabyasachi is a highly trained Consultant Paediatrician with advanced expertise in neonatal care, paediatric emergencies, intensive care, and paediatric gastroenterology. Trained at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, he follows a strictly evidence-based and up-to-date clinical approach in the management of newborns, infants, and children. At Healthworld Hospitals, he provides comprehensive paediatric care to families from Asansol, Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman, and surrounding regions of West Bengal.
He completed his MD in Paediatrics from AIIMS, New Delhi, where he underwent rigorous training across all paediatric subspecialties, including PICU, neonatal intensive care, paediatric emergencies, gastroenterology, hepatology, and respiratory medicine. During his tenure as a Senior Resident at AIIMS, Dr. Sabyasachi gained extensive hands-on experience in managing critically ill children, performing advanced procedures, and handling complex neonatal and paediatric cases. He was also actively involved in paediatric outreach services and rural healthcare delivery under AIIMS’ community health programs.
Dr. Sabyasachi has special training in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology, with expertise in GI endoscopy, liver biopsy, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic liver disease evaluation, and nutritional management in children. His academic inclination is reflected in his published research in international journals, including an original thesis in paediatric critical care. He has attended and completed multiple national CMEs and certified training programs in neonatology, paediatric endocrinology, respiratory infections, and immunodeficiency disorders.
Before joining Healthworld Hospitals, Dr. Sabyasachi worked as a Consultant Paediatrician in a multispeciality corporate hospital, where he played a key role in developing and running an 8-bedded NICU, in addition to managing OPD, ward, and ICU patients. His calm clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and compassionate approach have made him a trusted child specialist for parents across West Bengal and neighbouring regions.
